FNQ Landscapes does not provide turf-only retail sales or delivery. We purchase suitable turf from turf farms and arrange delivery as part of a complete installation project.
This lets us match the turf choice to the property and coordinate the timing of preparation, delivery and laying so the job is managed as one installation rather than separate disconnected services.

Ground preparation
A good lawn starts below the turf.
New turf can only perform as well as the base beneath it. Where required, we remove old turf and unsuitable soil, clear and relevel the area, bring in machinery through our Bobcat operator, install quality under-turf soil and improve drainage before laying begins.
For suitable projects we can also add stormwater pits or drains and connect them to existing stormwater infrastructure. These measures can improve drainage, but no system can guarantee against flooding or waterlogging during extreme Far North Queensland rainfall.

Levels, joins and edges matter.

After installation
Give the new lawn the best chance to establish.
New turf establishment depends on prompt and consistent watering, adjusted for the turf, weather, soil and drainage at the property. We provide watering and establishment guidance for the installed lawn.
Once established, we can also provide weekly or fortnightly mowing, scheduled fertilising and appropriate weed and lawn-pest treatments where required.

Garden mulching
Need the garden beds finished at the same time?
We can also install mulch as part of broader landscaping and lawn-improvement work. Mulch helps retain soil moisture, moderate soil temperature, reduce weed pressure and give garden beds a clean finish.
