FNQ Landscapes is a local partnership between Joel Farmer and Brad Anderson, created to provide Cairns and Far North Queensland with dependable landscape maintenance, practical landscaping projects and straightforward customer service.
The experience behind the business reaches back to 1999, when Joel and Shelley Farmer established the family business 1300 4 Gardening. Over more than 27 years, Joel helped grow and systemise landscaping operations serving residential, commercial and government clients.
That history is where the experience comes from. FNQ Landscapes is where the focus is now: a dedicated local business shaped around tropical conditions and the specific needs of Far North Queensland properties.
Why the new name?
A partnership built for the Far North.
FNQ Landscapes was formed when Joel partnered with Brad Anderson, a local, up-and-coming landscaper with hands-on knowledge of Cairns properties and tropical conditions.
The name reflects exactly where we work and who we serve. This partnership combines long-term industry experience and reliable systems with local leadership, practical skills, strong relationships and a genuine commitment to Far North Queensland.

Joel brings more than 27 years of landscaping and service-business experience and holds a Certificate III in Landscape Construction. His focus within FNQ Landscapes is applying that experience, strong systems and clear processes to create a dependable customer experience.

Brad brings local knowledge, practical landscaping ability and the energy of an up-and-coming Cairns landscaper. He leads with a hands-on understanding of tropical gardens, local conditions and what Far North Queensland properties require.
