Complete new systems, repairs, irrigation audits and smart controller setup from Gordonvale to Port Douglas.

New systems & practical upgrades
FNQ Landscapes installs complete irrigation systems—from basic tap timers through to fully computerised controllers. We plan separate zones around the way different areas need water, using pop-up sprinklers for turf and drip lines or micro-sprays for garden beds.
We also upgrade existing systems, add rain sensors where suitable and assess water-tank or pump connections, including replacement pumps where required.
What we can do
Complete zoned irrigation for new and established landscapes.
In-ground sprinklers selected and positioned for practical lawn coverage.
Drip lines and micro-sprays for targeted watering around garden beds.
Repair or replacement of leaking valves and damaged sprinkler heads.
Wall-mounted and Wi-Fi enabled controllers, app setup and rain sensors.
Assessment of suitable tank connections and replacement pumps.
Recommended every 12 months
A regular audit helps find wasted water, coverage problems and equipment that is no longer operating as intended. It also gives us the chance to adjust the controller for the season.
Why an annual irrigation audit matters →Controllers & remote support
Rain Bird is our preferred controller range. Depending on the property, we can install straightforward wall controllers or Wi-Fi enabled systems with app access and optional rain-sensor integration.
We can set up the app on your phone and, with your permission and compatible online access, retain contractor access so some seasonal changes can be completed remotely without a site visit.
Flexible controller options for smaller four-zone gardens through to larger multi-station systems, with Wi-Fi capability available on suitable models.
Products such as the Hunter NODE family can provide battery-operated control where a conventional mains-powered controller is not practical.
A compatible rain sensor can suspend scheduled watering after sufficient rainfall and allow the normal program to resume when conditions dry.

Drip lines & micro-sprays
Garden irrigation should deliver water where plants need it without unnecessarily soaking paths, walls or open areas. We can use drip lines or fine micro-sprays depending on the garden layout, planting and pressure available.
Repairs & replacements
We repair and replace leaking valves, damaged sprinkler heads, controller components and accessible pipework. The photographed manifold was exposed so its PVC pipework and valve connections could be repaired and re-glued.
FNQ Landscapes does not provide underground pipe or leak-location services. If the position of a broken underground pipe is unknown, specialist detection may be required before we can complete the repair.

Service area
We work across Cairns and surrounding areas, with travel depending on the size, scope and requirements of the job.
