FNQ Landscapes does more than complete the scheduled work. While we are at the property, we keep an eye on the outdoor areas and let the authorised contact know when something appears out of place or may need further attention.
See the work without being on-site
After the visit, the customer receives the invoice along with three or four useful overview photos showing the work completed and the general presentation of the property. This gives property managers, real estate teams and body corporate representatives a quick visual record without creating unnecessary administration.
If more detail is required, additional photos can be requested. Our job system keeps the wider photo record attached directly to the job, allowing the team to locate and provide relevant images quickly.
Early notice when something needs attention
Regular garden visits give our team an opportunity to notice visible outdoor issues that may not be obvious from an office. If we see something that appears to need action, we can photograph it and send the information through for consideration.
Common examples include:
- Trees or branches growing too close to buildings, roofs or access areas
- Garden beds that would benefit from fresh mulch
- Overgrown planting that requires work outside the regular scope
- Irrigation, drainage or landscape items that appear damaged
- Additional clean-up or presentation work worth considering
These are practical observations made while completing the gardening work, not formal building, arborist, safety or compliance inspections. Where specialist advice is needed, the property manager can arrange the appropriate qualified contractor.
A clearer approval process for extra work
When an item falls outside the agreed maintenance package, the photo record makes it easier to explain the issue, recommend the next step and prepare pricing. The property contact can review the information and decide whether they would like the additional work quoted or approved.
This creates a cleaner process: the regular scope remains clear, extra work is not completed without approval, and the person managing the property has useful information for making a decision.
Organised records on the job
Photos, job notes and customer communication are kept together in our job-management system. That means the history is easier to follow, information can be found quickly and the team is not relying on separate phone galleries or disconnected messages.
For managed properties, that systemisation saves time on both sides while providing a more transparent record of the service delivered.
